ConvertKit Club is closing on Monday, 30th November 2020.

I first open ConvertKit Club over 4 years ago (August 2016), shortly after I became one of the first 4 ConvertKit Certified Experts.

As my first-born non-hourly offer it’s always held a very special place in my heart.

It’s been through many iterations (most notably lowering the price by 71%!), but the happiness and joy I’ve felt supporting 1000s of ConvertKit users to make the most of this incredible software in their business has stayed the same.

Why am I closing ConvertKit Club?

This is a really big question, and there’s not one answer. I just feel it’s time.

My business has changed so much over the past 18 months since our 2 girls came to us.

By the start of this year I’d already let go of all the clients I was doing tech support work for, and then the pandemic made any sort of done-for-you work incredibly challenging.

In June I decided to indefinitely postpone a huge number of things in my business until childcare resumed.

I’m no longer in and out of ConvertKit accounts all day long. I’m no longer noticing every tiny change in ConvertKit. I’m no longer up-to-speed on all the features. I’m no longer ‘playing’ in ConvertKit the way I once used to.

I’ve found it increasingly difficult to provide the speed or level of support I’ve always prided myself on. I get very little focused/quality work time. I find it very difficult to record new tutorial videos. I find it difficult to sit down and go through a more complex question, and then map out an answer.

My business has also grown considerably in the past 6 months, culminating with the launch of The Profitable Playground in August. It’s now time for me to more formally stop offering ConvertKit training and services.

I plan to still offer free and paid trainings on email marketing, just without a ConvertKit focus.

And in case you’re wondering…. yes, I still use, love and recommend ConvertKit.
